Our Story
Our story
Partners from Antioquia, Colombia, one truck, and a standard they refused to lower.
Medallo Enterprises was founded by a group of partners from Antioquia, Colombia — from Medellín, the city that gave the company its name, and from Santa Rosa, in the heart of the country's coffee region. They came to New Jersey with commercial driving experience, a paisa work ethic, and one goal: build a transportation company FedEx could rely on without a second thought.
It began with a single tractor and one route. Runs completed on time earned more routes; more routes justified more trucks. Steady, careful growth turned one operation into a family-run group of affiliated carriers, all pulling dedicated line-haul for FedEx Express from the same yard in Hasbrouck Heights.
The company is still owner-operated. The partners who drove the first loads now plan the routes, hire the drivers, and personally sign off on every truck that leaves the lot.

Mission
To move every FedEx Express load safely and on schedule — and to give our drivers a stable, respectful place to build a career.
Vision
To be the line-haul partner FedEx never has to think twice about, and the company drivers in the region most want to work for.
What we stand on
Safety before schedule
No load is worth an unsafe run. If it isn't safe, it waits.
Our word is the contract
If we commit to a run, it gets covered — every time.
Respect for the driver
Fair schedules, honest pay, and equipment we'd be glad to drive ourselves.
Maintain like it matters
Trucks are serviced on schedule, not when something breaks.
Show up and get it done
The paisa work ethic the founders were raised on — no excuses, no shortcuts.
